Privacy Policy — 3D Quick Viewer

Last updated: 2026-09-07

Nothing is collected

3D Quick Viewer does not collect, store, or transmit any information about you. It performs no network communication at all — no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting. The app does not request network access.

What stays on your device

To make previews fast, the following is stored on your device only:

• The location of folders you granted access to (a reference stored by the operating system)
• Copies of the textures referenced by models in those folders (downscaled when you choose to), and rendered thumbnails
• Your settings (baking policy and the size limit)

These live in a shared area (an App Group) that only this app and its Quick Look extensions can read. Nothing is ever sent anywhere.

You can remove all of it at any time from the app's Settings.

When you delete the app

• iPhone / iPad — deleting the app removes the stored data with it.
• Mac — deleting the app leaves the stored data behind (macOS does not remove it). Settings has a Prepare to Delete This App button that removes it along with the folder permissions. To remove it by hand, the location is ~/Library/Group Containers/EF37D6UQZ9.group.jp.0spec.3DQuickViewer.

About the files you open
